My [Current] Telescope

Over the years, I have owned and used a number of telescopes,ranging from the Chesterfield Astronomical Society's 18 inch newtonian to a 2" Tasco refractor.

In the end though, I have always returned to just looking with either a pair of 10x50 binoculars or with just my [naked] eyes.

That said, in December 2008, I purchased a Skywatcher Skymax 102mm (4") f/1300 Maksutov-cassegrain on a computerised (GOTO) Alt-Az mount. The intention here is to setup a more sophisticated satellite tracking and video observation system.

To which end, I have also invested in a USB "super-webcam", an Opticstar PL-130M monochrome video camera.
